Aurélien Antoine is a PhD candidate in Computer Music at Plymouth University, UK. He is conducting his research under the supervision of Professor Eduardo R. Miranda in the Interdisciplinary Centre for Computer Music (ICCMR). Aurélien is interested in the perception of musical timbre from orchestral sound and is investigating ways to incorporate this aspect into intelligent computer-aided orchestration systems. His research developments have been presented in various international conferences.
