     Marco Antonio da Silva Ramos is Professor of Choral Conducting and chair of the Choral Laboratory of the Music Department of the University of São Paulo, being the artistic director and conductor of the Choir of the School of Communication and Arts and of the Comunicantus Chamber Choir. He has performed as guest conductor in Austria, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, USA, Colombia and Argentina. He has been guest lecturer at the International Summer Academy of Choral Conducting in Gran Canaria, Spain, and on many occasions at the Indiana University in Bloomington. In 2015, he participated in a joint research between the University of São Paulo and the University of Cambridge, UK, funded by the British Academy.
