John Koslovsky is on the music theory faculty at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and holds an affiliate research position at Utrecht University. His research interests are in the history of music theory, Schenkerian analysis, and music of the Romantic and early Modernist periods. His research has appeared in numerous journals and edited volumes, including the Journal of Musicology, Intégral, Music Analysis, and Revista di Analisi e Teoria Musicale. He is currently the president of the Dutch-Flemish Society for Music Theory.
