Catherine Losada is currently Associate Professor of music theory at the College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. She holds a Ph.D. from the City University of New York Graduate Center and has published articles and reviews in Music Theory Spectrum, Music Analysis, Journal of Music Theory, Music Theory Online, the Journal of Mathematics and Music, and Quaderni di Matematica. Dr. Losada was the 2016 winner of the Society for Music Theory’s Outstanding Publication Award for her Music Theory Spectrum article on Pierre Boulez. She is former president of Music Theory Midwest and a current member of the Executive Board for the Society of Music Theory.
