Wing teaches music theory at the University of Arkansas. Her research focuses on rhythm and meter, German lieder, and the relationship between performance and analysis. She has published with Music Theory Online, and has presented at numerous international and regional music conferences, including the Doctors in Performance Festival Conference, the Society for Music Theory, Music Theory Midwest, Music Theory Southeast, Rocky Mountain Society for Music Theory, and the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Musicological Society. Wing holds a Ph.D. in Music Theory from the University of Oregon and a M.M. in Piano Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
