Pianist Ivan Moshchuk has quickly become one of classical music’s most unconventional emerging artists. A recipient of the 2010 Gilmore Young Artist Award, he has appeared in concert on stages such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Merkin Hall in New York. A tireless researcher, Moshchuk was invited to present his paper “Episodic aspects of form in the music of Chopin and Rachmaninoff” at the 8th International Rachmaninoff Festival-Symposium in Kharkiv, Ukraine. His article was published in the proceedings of the conference in 2012. A graduate of the Peabody Institute in Baltimore and an alumnus of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, Ivan is currently pursuing an Artist diploma at the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy.
