     Meghan Naxer (Ph.D. University of Oregon, 2016) is an Assistant Professor of Music Theory at Kent State University. Meghan has presented research on music theory pedagogy, late nineteenth-century form, and rhythm and meter at regional, national, and international conferences including Engaging Students: An Unconference on Music Pedagogy, the Mythopoeic Society Mythcon, and the European Music Analysis Conference. Her work can also be seen in Engaging Students: Essays in Music Pedagogy. Meghan also holds degrees in flute performance and continues to be an active performer.
