     Frankie Perry is a doctoral student at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she is supervised by Julian Johnson and funded by the AHRC. Her undergraduate and master’s study was undertaken at, respectively, St Anne’s and St Catherine’s Colleges, University of Oxford. Her doctoral project considers recent orchestrations and re-imaginings of nineteenth-century lieder from a range of aesthetic and analytic perspectives. Broader research interests include the study of musical transcription and arrangement; compositional, musicological, and performance-based engagements with unfinished music; and the music and reception histories of Schubert, Schumann, and Mahler.
