     Rebecca Perry recently received her Ph.D. in Music History from Yale University. Her dissertation, entitled “Thematic Idiosyncrasy in Prokofiev’s Early Sonata Forms,” explores unorthodoxies of form and thematic process in Prokofiev’s early instrumental music. She has published in Music Theory & Analysis and presented at annual meetings of the Society for Music Theory, American Musicological Society, New England Conference of Music Theorists, and Music Theory Midwest. This fall she will begin as an Assistant Professor of Music Theory at Lawrence University.
