     Hamish Robb is Lecturer in Musicology (and Programme Director of Music Studies) at the New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington. Hamish completed a PhD in musicology at Princeton University in 2015, and also holds two Masters degrees (in piano performance and musicology) from Victoria University. His research incorporates analytical, critical, and historical approaches to music, and investigates issues of musical meaning, embodiment, performance and analysis, music psychology, and music-dance relationships. Hamish has published articles in Music Theory Online and in Dance Research. As a pianist, he has performed as concerto soloist with several orchestras, and continues to perform as both a solo and chamber musician.
