Lynne Rogers is the Edward Aldwell Professor of the Techniques of Music at the Mannes School of Music at The New School in New York City. She also taught at Oberlin Conservatory, William Paterson University, and The University of Texas, and held the Endowed Chair in Music at The University of Alabama in 2013. During 2010–11, she served as president of the Society for Music Theory.
