Sommaire

     Edward Venn is Associate Professor in Music at the University of Leeds and Associate Editor for the journal Music Analysis. His research focuses on twentieth-century and contemporary music. He has written two monographs, the most recent of which, Thomas Adès: Asyla, was published in late 2016 by Routledge. Recent and forthcoming articles and book chapters have explored the music of Adès, Birtwistle, Simon Holt and Arctic Monkeys. He has an interest in the pedagogy of music analysis, and in particular the use of blended learning as a tool to facilitate learning.
